I didn’t think then that I was going to like her very much. But now she’s my best friend and we do everything together. Well, almost everything. I got as far as: and I had to go back and change it: We didn’t have Mrs Rowe then, which is just as well or she’d have made one of her remarks like “I see we nearly stumbled at the first hurdle, Rebecca!” She said that to Sarah once, when Sarah wrote the date wrong.
