Eventually Mr.
Dietrick placed his suggestions before the Prison Commission and his plans were unanimously approved by the Commission, the Council of State, the Board of Directors of the State Prison, the Secretary of State Board of Health and the Commissioner of Public Welfare of the State of North Carolina. The plans, as submitted by Mr. Dietrick provide for: 1. The receiving and classification station.
