It was too much. They were fearful, and they were afraid. That was part of it. The other part of it was that they didn t like us basically, then. Lage: That s right, rather than talking about it separately. 156 Evans: There has always been sort of a right wing and a left wing to the movement, just for descriptive purposes only, and we were certainly considered to be very much in the left wing then and Friends of the Earth only a little bit further to the left than we were.
