Distribution.
Three areas of andesite occur in the Oroville-Nighthawk dis- trict. The largest comprises about one and one-half square miles and is plastered against the steep slope west of Oroville.
The next in importance forms the capping of Kruger mountain, while the third appears in the valley wall west of Lake Osoyoos.
