The original pay-roll is in the Massachusetts Arch- ives, in Vol. XIII, page 10.
Capt. Johnson Moulton was prominent in York and by trade was a joiner. He had been a captain in the French and Indian war, and had a brother Thomas and a sister Deborah, and they were children of Ebenezer Moulton, of York, who had land granted him by that town and had died before July 5, 1768.
