Danny smiled and looked at the ground. “I did, actually,” he confessed.

“Yeah, he’s OK,” Danny said defensively. “He’s just old.”

Danny didn’t know anyone with that name, so how could he possibly help him? He didn’t even know where to start looking. Perhaps Caleb was right — maybe Captain Mack was just old and dippy.
