The Spectator some years ago said : " The qualities which go to the making of an ideal letter are lightness of touch, ease of expression, brilliance which is never forced, and amiability which is never exaggerated or forgotten. " 10 FOR MISSIONARIES A golden rule, indeed. And all that we have to do is to follow it in our Chinese, especially the " ease of expression " !
