At page 68 there is a large engraving, of which the frontispiece to this volume is a facsimile, representing the Emperor Charles vi. in armour and robes, holding up a sword, and Prince Eugene of Savoy presenting to him the infant Archduke Leopold, on a velvet cushion, whom the Emperor makes a Knight of the Golden Fleece. The cordon of the Order hangs across the infant. The following inscriptions are on scrolls occupying the upper corner of the picture — DeCora heroVM Cesar et eVgenIVs = 17 16 Der Helden sehr und Zierde schon, 1st carl Leopold und eugen.
