To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:
Prior to construction, 9 buildings would be demolished in the project area. The demolition activity has the potential for emissions of fugitive dust and asbestos insulating material. The demolition contractor must comply with Massachusetts regula- tion 310 CMR 7.02(1^), which controls emissions of friable asbestos material. The contractor must inspect all buildings to determine whether or not asbestos insulating material is present. If asbestos is found, written notification to DEQE prior to de...molition is required, and if certain amounts are present, special handling procedures are required. Compliance with this regulation would ensure no adverse impacts from demo- lition activity. The particulate or fugitive dust emissions from the site have potential for substantial short-term impacts. Fugitive dust emissions would occur during demolition activity, ground exca- vation, stockpiling of material, movement of equipment on site, and transport of material to and from the site. Fugitive dust would generally be a problem during periods of intense activity and V'/ould be accentuated by windy and/or dry conditions.
