Also a brief consideration of the concepts of Social Security, estate, and gift taxation. Prerequisite: ACTG 353. Each semester. ACTG 454: COMPARATIVE ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS 3 s.h. The major objective of the course is to help the student to develop a holistic approach to the concepts and practices for the examination and exploration of accounting systems. Spec- ialized accounting systems will be discussed in detail dependent upon the interest and desires of students.
