Mr. Faleomavaega. I just wan...t to make one more observation. At the time that we conducted our own nuclear testing program in the Pacific, I think there was quite an understanding that there were very serious environmental concerns.
Our own country has had some very serious problems with radio- active contamination. Some of the people who lived in the Pacific were subjected directly to nuclear contamination from the nuclear explosions that we conducted on the Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands.
In doing so, we have conducted atmospheric tests and we have done it on the water.
