40 Article XXII.
Except as provided in Article XXX of these By- Discipline Laws, the Board of Directors may impose a fine not exce...eding twenty-five dollars for the first offense for any breach of the Constitution or By-Laws, or of any regulation they may make by authority of the same; and may, by the affirmative vote of six of its members, expel any member and forfeit his member- ship, or suspend any member for any conduct which in its opinion is likely to endanger the welfare, in- terest or harmony of the Club; or, wdien the offense is of such a character as to admit of apology or rep- aration, the Board shall have power to require the offender to apologize or make reparation, and to fix the time within which it shall be done.
