Rothschild and Sons for a very considerable amount, and that he " represents a French syndicate of jewellery." In his letter to our secretary, dated March 10th, 1887, Mr. Unger for the first time stated distinctly that the syndicate for which he acted v,ras headed by Messrs. N. M.
Rothschild and Sons of London.
