It resembles the Bogota bird in the coloration of the wings, but may be recognised * In the original description the measurements, by misprint, are given as follows : wing 54 ; tail 46 mm, (243 ) by lacking the blackish cap (the feathers of the pileum being olive-green like the back, with inconspicuous dusky central spots), by its decidedly lighter, more greenish brown back, somewhat paler yellow frontal band, and by having the flanks slightly washed with brownish.
