It also provided for the apportionment of expenses among the towns interested as members of the district, for the accommodation of street railway traffic; and for nego- 65 CROSSING THE CONNECTICUT tiations with the New York, New Haven & Hartford Raihoad Company in regard to moving the Valley railroad tracks in such manner as might be agreed upon for the benefit of the bridge and its approaches on the west side of the river.
