“You think I should tell him not to run?”
“You can’t do that now,” Mom said.

“No, I can do something about you,” Mom said. “I can teach you something that you need to know, and that’s what I’m doing. You love your friends and you give them the benefit of the doubt, but you don’t put them out there by themselves to do your work.
