At first glance, the dress looked like the kind Chrissie would wear. But, when I held it up, I changed my mind. Made of heavy red velvet strewn with black lace, the gown had much more of a Gothic look than the Victorian dresses Chrissie preferred. I didn't say so, but I liked the dress.
