Hannah, the eldest daughter of Joseph and Mehit- able Titcomb, married William, son of William and Love (Coffin) Allen. William, the eldest son of William and Hannah, was graduated at Bowdoin College with the highest honors of bis class, and died three years later. Stephen was graduated at the same college, and was ordained a Methodist Episcopal minister. He resides in Au- gusta, and is Presiding Elder of that district.
