[Laws 1897, chap. 28, § 1.] Sec* $b. [Same — Investment of office.] — Upon the appoint- ment and approval of the bond of such clerk of the district court, as provided in section 1, (8a) of this act, the county , clerk shall at once turn over to the said officer all papers, books, files, and records, of every nature whatsoever, in his hands pertaining to said office.
