" By one canon the faithful ministers of the Gospel are forbidden to enter the parishes of ungodly ministers to preach to their neglected parishioners ; by another they are required to expel any of them who may happen to be awakened from their own churches ; and by another they must not even warn their people of the false doctrines which are ruining men's souls in all the surround- ing pulpits.
