What reading level is Essays in Social Justice book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

But if the desire to possess goods is greed, then the desire for social esteem is vanity. As between greed and vanity there is little to choose. Besides, the appeal to the desire for goods does not, in the slightest degree, interfere with the appeal to the desire for social esteem. They are equally self-inter- ested.
