The Governor representing to this Board the necessity of an Ar- mourer for cleaning and keeping in order the arms belonging to her Majesty now at Williamsburg consisting of two hundred Sett of Foot- mens Arms and one hundred of horse arms, and that he was now treat- ing with one to undertake that Service at y^ rate of twelve pounds per annum: It is the opinion of the Council that the said Allowance is very reasonable, and the Service necessary for the preserving and rendering useful!
