To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:
Her deportment as a minister was circumspect and ex- emplary, becoming the character of a messenger of Christ. In our meetings at home she was not forward to appear in public, being more concerned to know the power of the gospel to arise and prevail over the assembly, than to be heard in vocal communication. Waiting in reverent silence to know " the stone rolled from the welFs mouth, she was at times favored, not only to drink of the water of life her- self, but to minister of it to the strengt...h and refreshment of the flock.
