Two shades of yellow are sometimes employed for this dress, if the person represents the two fruits.

ORIENTAL LADY, EASTERN SULTANA, EASTERN QUEEN, LIGHT OF THE HAREM, &c. All these at Fancy Balls are rendered with loose silk trousers to ankles ; a short satin skirt ; and a sort of paletot of satin with pendent sleeves. The whole in bright colours, much betrimmed with gold and sequins ; the hair in plaits ; a round cap on the head.
