We cruised off or in sight of the highlands of Dungarvan till the 30th, without capturing any other vessels, the wind during that time being to the westward; but on this day at the setting of the sun the wind shifted to the eastward, which we considered as a favourable omen, as this wind was fair to waft some rich English ships from Bristol or Liverpool, along the Irish coasts.
