"Had an early client. Didn't want to wake you. See you later?" Inside the envelope was a small business card, and on the back a location right here in town. I looked from his letter, to the card and back to the letter again. Fuck. The gig he'd mentioned? It's tonight!
Scrambling out of bed, I pulled on a pair of jeans and checked the clock.
