If, there- fore, this highest point lies to the left of the aeroplane curve, the motor is turning at over 1200 revolutions per minute when the aeroplane is flying at normal speed. On the other hand, if the highest point lies to the right of the aeroplane curve, in normal flight the motor will be running at under 1200 revolutions per minute.
