GEORGE NEWMAN was a very stingy little fellow, much to the sorrow of his affectionate parents, who tried every means to make their child overcome so bad a habit. One clay Mr. Newman brought home some beautiful great peaches, and, handing them all to George, told him to give each of his sisters two, and then he would have two left for himself.
