HUNT was a daughter of Judge J. B. C. Lucas, of St. Louis, and was mar- ried first to Col. Thos. Hunt, U. S. A., who died at old Cantonment Belle- fontaine, near the junction of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. Her second marriage was to his brother, Wilson P. Hunt, best known as the leader of the historic Astoria Expedition.
