Part of the Montana State Library collection. A creel census was conducted at Georgetown Lake during the 1971-72 ice-fishing season. An estimated 10, 169 fishermen fished for 33,114 hours and harvested 54,954 fish. The total yield was 9.0 pounds per acre which is over 4.0 pounds per acre less than that taken during the 1966-67 and 1969-70 winter seasons.
