Note. — ^Werden is the regular auxiliary of the Passive Voice, but sein is also used, though with a dififerent force. Werden refers to the passing of the act itself, and can always be traced to its literal meaning of become ; sein on the contrary refers only to the finished state as expressed by the Participle, which thus in effect becomes an Adjective.
