Nor, perhaps, is the point in dispute to be decided by the analogy supplied by the combination (ky) of the palatal semivowel (y) with k, which is universally admitted to be an initial debilitation, and the physical formation of which differs from that of kw almost entirely in the absence of protrusion of the lips.
