For her the shower was a novelty and a luxury. At her London home, getting herself in and out of the bath with a system of electric pulleys and belts had quickly lost its appeal, but Stillwater’s wet room simplified everything.
There was a dry area for her wheelchair, and strategically placed rails that she could use to support herself on her way to the shower stall.
