This was the last of the enamel works, for the advertisement goes on to announce that " all the tools and utensils belonging to the fa...ctory will be sold, also a quantity of frames and unfinished enamels. " The factory was also offered for sale but did not find a pur- chaser, and a few years later was finally closed. This was the end of Janssans' connection with Battersea.
