The second year of this mission was yet more trying. But this little band 142 HISTORICAL SKETCHES felt it had the prayers and support of the young people, though it was keenly conscious that inore visible results were expected. The small working force in the Sunday School, and the lack of public confidence in the mission were the chief difficulties.
