F "William Boyell [should, probably, be Boyle] and Jane Jansen, both of E. Town, were married, Sep. 27, 1675, at E. Town, by Justice Bollen. Nothing further is known of them. He may have been the ancestor of Solomon Boyle, who owned 600 acres on the Upper Passaic, adjoining the Berk- ley tract, and was the father of a numerous family.
