Elwell. This establishment was built the past season, in the most thorough manner, of beautiful grey granite, quar- ried from the surrounding hills.
The main building is 233 feet long by 40 wide, one and one-half stories high, with an attic of one story, and wheel house attached 80 by 20; pattern house 22 by 40. A shop for wood work 40 by 70, three stories high, and the whole propelled by a water wheel 43 feet in diameter.
