Elder Comstock. Occa- sional services were held after the removal of Mr. Comstock for some time, but not in the few years past. The farm is held by a trustee for the benefit of the Six-Principle Baptist denomination.
"SwANZEY Village Meeting House" This Union Meeting House was built about 1830; and was used for rehgious, and various other social interests, by the people of the community, until it was no longer usable for any purpose, when in 1890, the Town condemned the land and made it the site of the first and only Town Hall, the gift of the Hon.
