The insurance of $5, 000 was paid, and the Church heroically under- took to build another and even much better structure. The cost was about $10, 000. This was dedicated May 31, 1903. During the pastorate of D. G. Hall, the old parsonage was sold, removed, and a new one with all modern conveniences erected in its stead, at a cost of about $4, 000. During recent pastorates Forest has been making rapid strides along all lines of Church work, until it has become one of the most enthusiastic, aggressive stations in the Central Ohio Conference.
