That this is true is shown by the tremendous variety of locations from which his patients came. It was a common experience to find clustered in his waiting-room patients from far-distant points. For ex- ample, one of his friends remembers to have seen, waiting to see Dr. Agnew at one time, a patient from San Francisco, another from New Orleans, and a third from Boston.
