THE MARINE SOCIETY OF NEWBURYPORT 289 OBITUARY.
Capt. Stephen P. Bray, president of the Marine Society since 1879, and a member since Nov. 30, 1843, died at his home, June 10, 1883, aged 71 years, 16 days. The members of the society attended his funeral.
