Virus is perishable and should be kept on ice until used. Don't order "virus" unless you are in possession of a "virus permit." Don't use virus after expiration date marked on bottle label. This date is ten days after virus is drawn from hog. Burn all virus not used. Do not handle virus on public roads, commons or ranges. Don't inject virus into a hog which is already sick. Take temperature per rectum ; if the temperature is above 104 degrees it indicates that the hog is sick.
