It is however of only moderate quality since it lacks richness, delicacy and aroma and is strongly "foxy. " Moreover, it is a poor keeper, losing flavor soon after gathering. There are so many better varieties that this one should not be added to the home vineyard until at least twenty other varieties had been given preference.
