Bran 200 pounds Corn meal 100 pounds Low grad...e flour 100 pounds Gluten meal 100 pounds Meat scrap 100 pounds Third month same as the second with the addition of 50 pounds of linseed meal.
Fourth month same as the second month given above.
Fifth moitth same as third month as given above.
From this time on 50 pounds of linseed meal is put into the mash each alternate month. The advantages believed to result from this method of varying the mash are, better vitality and more even egg production.
When the birds are not on range sprouted oats are used freely for green feed.
