When he got back, Ian was scrambling back into bed, a little bit of toothpaste on the corner of his mouth, and Joel grinned.
“Ian, do you think people who’ve been married for a couple of years kiss with morning breath?” Ian blinked. “I dunno. Maybe we’ll find out, you think?” Joel moved in closer, so all he could see were those spring blue eyes.
