It must be recognized that many in the various divi- sions of Christendom have attained to the new birth, irrespective of any one interpretation of the new birth, if we are to consider at all the evidences of a living faith. " * Frequently these vital elements are pushed aside — sad to say more frequently than other- wise — to discuss systems of theology or to be more definite to discuss Baptism, the Priesthood and the Lord's Supper, over which bitter contro- versies have been waged.
