This field seems also to have been a great cemetery, as theremains of skeletons are found in great numbers.
Pottery is found in great abundance. It has, as a rule, been depositednear the heads of the dead, but no ornaments or implements have beendiscovered with the remains. The frequent plowing of the field hasdestroyed many earthen vessels, the interments having been made quitenear the surface.
