EXTERIOR MODEL.

The temple proper with the fountains, garden vases, balustrades, steps and copings, are treated in white to give the effect of stone. The windows of the temple are filled with imitation stained and colored glass. The long mirror lake, suggested by the garden arrangement of the Taj - Mahal, and the basins of the nine fountains, are of green mirrored glass giving reflections of the building and the surrounding foliage, while the walks and pavements are sanded to represent gravel.
