The old Satndmi Chamdr, named Gobardhan, whom I have already mentioned, often conversed with me regarding the transmigration of souls. He professed to be able to say exactly what form of life his acquaint- ances had in a previous " birth." He beheved himself to have been a Brahman, who for some offence was sent into this world as a Chamdr.
