The juror answering that he had formed an opinion as to the killing of the deceased, the opinion expressed must be as to the guilt or innocence of the defendant, of the crime laid to his charge. State v. Thompson^ 9 Iowa 189. Although the juror may have formed an opinion from what he has read in a newspaper, yet, if he answers that he has not made np his mind, and has not an unqualified opinion, he should not be challenged.
